Visit https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa Network services are offering an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their team at Clatterbridge Liverpool to work with the breast MDT to lead the implementation of a new clinical model for review of CDK4 inhibitors. This is a fixed term, part time post. To provide expert knowledge and advice in own specialist area, ensuring maintenance of clinical excellence underpinned by evidence-based practice. The successful applicant must be motivated and enthusiastic about the specialist care needs of this patient group. They should be able to demonstrate advanced communication skills, organisational and multi-tasking skills and have the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently in a busy and fast paced working environment.

The successful applicant must demonstrate an ability to support, teach, develop and educate others and possess good leadership skills. They should be able to work autonomously and work as part of a strong multidisciplinary team in order to maintain and deliver a high quality of care. Main duties of the job The ANP will provide: Leadership Mastery Excellence (clinical) Act as a role model demonstrating high standards of care and providing clinical leadership to others.

To develop patient pathways and be responsible for developing the nursing service. To participate in quality initiatives within the division. Work with the Multidisciplinary team to ensure that your cancer service complies with the national standards for safety and quality, which are assessed through National Cancer Peer Review Process and actively contribute with work plans.

To work autonomously and seek collaborative relationships with others across and within professional boundaries. To offer advice, support and education to clinical teams across the trust and network where appropriate. To offer the patient and families the skills of a Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to discuss treatment for their cancer and provide symptom control, social, emotional and spiritual care.

Provision of specialist, high quality, expert nursing care and support for patients and their carers. Deliver evidence based individualised patient care according to patient's changing health care needs, through holistic needs assessment (HNA). To provide expert knowledge and advice in own specialist area, ensuring maintenance of clinical excellence underpinned by evidence-based practice.

Person Specification Knowledge Registered General Nurse MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice/ACP Non Medical prescribing qualification with portfolio supporting attainment of competency Recognised Leadership qualification Evidence of continued professional development Advanced Communications Skills training Recognised Teaching qualification Systemic Anti-Cancer (SACT) module/competency and SACT experience Advanced Life Support qualification (only ANP's who participate in MET cover) IO needle insertion (only ANP's who participate in MET cover) Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care or relevant subject Research Qualification Psychological skills training Level 2 training or above Knowledge and Expertise Highly motivated and experienced practitioner with substantive range of experience within cancer care Broad and advanced knowledge of pathophysiology Sound level of knowledge in relation to invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Knowledge of national standards, policies and working knowledge of clinical governance Understanding of evidence based practice and ability to critically appraise and implement research findings into practice.
