Obstetrician and Gynaecologist: Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Consultant)

The Opportunity We are currently seeking an ST3 Locum Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to support the Women & Children’s Division in the West Midlands . This opportunity offers a temporary contract with a structured block booking of daytime shifts (08:30–18:00), including weekends, providing consistent work within a busy hospital environment. It is well suited to candidates with experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, confident working in fast‑paced clinical settings while maintaining high standards of care.

You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting day‑to‑day service delivery and contributing to safe, effective patient care. Key Details Pay: Negotiable Location: West Midlands Setting: Acute Hospital – Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department Contract Type: Temporary Locum Start Date: ASAP Duration: ASAP – 31 August 2026 (daily shifts available throughout) Shift Pattern: 08:30–18:00, including weekends Pay Method: PAYE Additional Notes: Full rota of daily shifts available; one doctor required per shift; standard hospital clearance applies What You’ll Be Doing Deliver high-quality care within your scope of practice in an acute O&G environment Support day-to-day clinical operations, contributing to efficient patient flow and service delivery Carry out obstetric and gynaecological assessments, interventions, and treatments in line with local protocols Work collaboratively with consultants, midwives, nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards Identify and elevate clinical concerns appropriately Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment What We’re Looking For Active GMC registration Recent UK experience at ST3 level within Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ability to work both independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism Role‑specific requirements: Competence in core O&G duties at ST3 level Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship) #J-18808-Ljbffr
