Quantity Surveyor – Bristol Main Contractor | Refurbishment & New‑Build Projects Overview A well‑established regional contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Bristol. The role offers hands‑on responsibility across pre‑ and post‑contract duties, supporting the delivery of high‑quality refurbishment and new‑build schemes across the South West. Key Responsibilities Manage full commercial lifecycle across multiple projects, including cost planning , procurement and subcontractor management Prepare and review bills of quantities, tender documents and contract documentation Lead valuations, variations, change control and monthly reporting Monitor project costs, forecasts and cashflow to ensure commercial compliance Conduct site visits, progress checks and stakeholder meetings Support final accounts and ensure accurate financial close‑out Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners About You Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction (main contractor or developer) Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes Confident managing procurement, subcontractor packages and cost reporting Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative commercial team Based within commutable distance of Bristol What’s on Offer Supportive commercial team with clear progression pathways Diverse project portfolio across refurbishment, fit‑out and new‑build Long‑term stability with a respected contractor Competitive Salary & Benefits package
