Job Details Job Title: Night Manager Location: Hulme Employment Type: Full time Contract Type: Permanent Shift Pattern: Nights (4 nights over 7 days including weekend) Hours per Week: 45 Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits Category: Store Management Closing Date: 28 June 2026 Responsibilities Manage and lead the night team to keep the store running while it is open 24 hours, ensuring availability and high shop floor standards across all departments. Plan and execute all trading activity on the shopfloor during the night shift, rotating deliveries, managing waste and returns, and limiting damage through replenishment. Lead and coach night colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shop floor standards while fostering a culture of selling, customer service, pride, and increased basket value.

Ensure the shopfloor is landed, presentable for customers before handing over to the day team, with promotions, foyer and hot spots fit for trade. Listen with empathy, drive resilience, encourage ownership, focus and passion, and support the development of the team, creating an environment where people feel valued and motivated. Qualifications Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.

Ability to make decisions independently with a hands‑on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people. Confidence in developing teams and managing change. Strong customer service focus.
