Development Monitoring Surveyor

Madison Berkeley are currently working on a really interesting opportunity with an entrepreneurial real estate lending platform looking to hire an experienced Project Monitoring / Development professional into a highly commercial role. The role sits directly within the lender and will involve a mix of :• Reviewing and challenging external monitoring surveyor report s• Managing live development finance situation s• Problem-solving across distressed or complex project s• Working closely with borrowers, consultants and internal stakeholder s• Assessing cost-to-complete, programme risk and development viabilit y• Site visits across a national portfoli o The business is particularly interested in individuals who combine strong technical credibility with commercial judgement and the confidence to operate autonomously in a lean environmen t.Likely backgrounds could includ e:Development Monitoring Surveyi ngProject Monitori ngDevelopment Manageme ntBuilding Surveying within a lending environme ntDevelopment Finance / Credit suppo rtIdeal candidates will probably come from a smaller, entrepreneurial consultancy, debt fund or lender rather than a heavily siloed corporate environmen t.London-based with hybrid workin g.
