Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Advanced Practitioner to join their Support and Protection Team Fantastic payrate of £37 per hour! Responsibilities of this role: Lead and manage complex child protection and safeguarding cases Provide expert assessment, analysis, and decision-making in high-risk situations Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings and strategy discussions Mentor, supervise, and support Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers Model best practice and ensure high standards of statutory social work Quality-assure assessments, plans, and reports to court and panels Support effective risk management and safety planning for children and families Provide reflective supervision and professional guidance to the team Support practice development and continuous improvement within the service Ensure practice complies with legislation, statutory guidance, and local procedures Requirements of this role: Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
