Audit Manager Location – Liverpool city centre Salary – £60,000 About the company: A broad Audit Manager role within a well-established accountancy practice, managing a small team. Responsibilities include: Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients including not for profit and SME/owner managed businesses and professional practices Directly line manage 3-4 team members Play an active role in business development, including: Involvement in pitches and tenders Identifying opportunities within existing client relationships Developing commercial confidence and visibility within the firm Ad hoc non audit related projects, including due diligence work and problem solving accounting issues Assisting with the firm’s Audit Quality Control process Skills/Qualifications required: ACA/ACCA qualified Operating at Audit Manager level High level familiarity with UK auditing and accounting standards Background in general practice Experience managing multiple audits and deadlines concurrently Commitment to audit quality and attention to detail Experience of managing SRA Accounts Rules Reviews would be an advantage, but not mandatory We typically advertise our roles on LinkedIn for no more than 24-72 hours, but that doesn’t always mean the vacancy is filled.
