Our growing company is looking for a motivated Project Manager to be part of the Company Operations Department. This role will suite best for an individual who Mechanical Engineering or Controls Engineering credentials with previous project management experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with PMP, P.Eng. or equivalent credentials. The suitable candidate will have proven HVAC design knowledge, project management, construction management experience. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager directs, manages, and allocates resources for company's projects consisting of Project Engineers, Project Designers, Installation Team, Technical Engineers.

Sr. Project Manager will work closely with the Executive Management team in manpower and resource planning while assigning projects to Project Teams. The Sr.

Project manager will oversee regular review of project resources time allocation, including Design Engineers, Control Technician and Electricians on associated project, analyzing project performance, and providing regular project progress report to executive management. The Sr. Project manager will perform regular site inspection to gain firsthand knowledge of project progress on site for predictive and accurate reporting.

As member of PMO team, Project manager will help lead the PMO office in coaching and mentoring junior members and establishes processes that could be replicated and optimize project delivery. The Sr. Project manager will also oversee flagship projects for OC and ensure projects are delivered on time, under budget and with the best possible execution quality.

The Project Manager oversees and manages all aspects of projects from pre-construction to completion and acceptance. The Project Manager oversees the executive task force and ensures the work is completed in a timely and cost-effective basis. The Project Manager is the primary contact between internal and external project contacts, Project Manager is expected to consistently display and model the values and mission for the company.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Project Planning & Execution Reviews scope, specs, and pricing of newly awarded projects with the OC Sales department. Obtain and Reviews project schedules for proper workforce planning Accountable for set up of Knowify for the projects and change orders Develop project baseline and schedule of values and develop a project execution plan Vendor package submittal collection and follow up to ensure job specification are met. Follow up and obtain commitment from suppliers to ensure OC supplied material arrives on site.

Scheduling of delivery of large, ticketed items with appropriate engagement with Board of directors Manages and plans the labor requirements for Company's active construction projects' phases from start to finish. Instructing and partaking in Engineering, electrical, and technical phases planning. Analyze and prepare monthly projects progress and manpower report highlighting and predicting project performance against the intended plans.

Assigns Tasks and allocates resources to Engineering and Technical team, and tracks deliverables of ongoing projects Engagement with Engineering department to ensure timely submittal to meet project timeline Follow up on shop drawing to ensure timely approval and review of the engineers' comments to ensure comments and changes are addressed Prepares project progress claims for assigned projects on a monthly basis within established timelines. Reviews and establish scope gaps, drives CO and added value revenue within the contract. Partakes in preparation of Company's process improvements policies, standardization of the engineering and system programming and start up processes Perform regular site inspections to gain firsthand knowledge of project status to prepare accurate and relevant project progress reports and progress claims on monthly bases.

Ensures that all projects are done accurately, on-time, within budget and within scope of the contract. Reviews and interprets contract terms and conditions and assists assigned Systems Engineers and System Specialists with site coordination tasks for projects of higher complexity. Coordinates onsite technical labor requirements with Installation team and resolve conflict.

Assists the Installation team in evaluating the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued instructions. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Work closely with PMO to deliver and execute the projects assigned Manpower planning for the jobs with collaboration and discussion with Foreman A and Operations Director Empower Site Foreperson with necessary planning to coordinates tools for sites, large material procurement, etc.

Work with Site Foreperson to Dispatches and schedules on-site electricians' work. Communicates regularly with onsite electricians. Ensures onsite electricians can do their job effectively and efficiently.

Maintains appropriate staffing levels and workload distribution to meet project demands and business needs while ensuring productive execution based on budgeted hours Ensures up to date certifications for field staff. Ensures necessary specialty tools and trainings are available for field staff Organizes and coordinates sub-contractors to work on the project as needed. Ensures quality of work meets company's and industry standards Ensures that work is completed in a timely manner.

Ensures that issue tracker items in BlueRithm are addressed and resolved in a timely manner by assigned team members. Ensures that the most up-to-date drawings and relevant information is available to personal Ensures timely delivery of instruction and Material to both installation and Technical Teams. Monitors all project expenditures and flagging of inappropriate spending Oversea communicates though PMO team to associated teams Ensures accurate and timely reports for progress billing to Operations Director Change Order Process Reviews change requests from general contractors and customers Prices change requests by obtaining the necessary input from Engineering, Installation and Technical Teams Obtains approval for change request in written form from Customer Ensures accuracy of scope and pricing presented.

Project Completion Ensures all documentation is in place for final sign-off. Ensures inspections and associated reports are completed and available. Ensures as-builds and maintenance manuals are accurate and complete.

Human Resources Participates in recruiting and hiring when necessary Provide Annual performance review and conduct assessments of project team members including Foreman's, Journeymen, Technicians and PMO members with management Organize training for project teams, electricians and apprentices in company Ensure and endorse positive relationship between various teams. Work to ensure a positive work culture in the office and built lively team collaboration Administration Review and approves labor hours for work performed by task force with direct supervisor approval party. Reviews and approves supplier and sub-contractor invoices.

Ensures progress and final billings are accurate and completed on a timely basis. Reviews and adjusts billings to customers as necessary. Creates, negotiates, and manages agreements and contracts with sub-contractor companies.

Customer Relations & Business Development Manages customer relationships. Key point of contact. Provides customers with regular updates.

Ensures customer is satisfied and appreciated. Aids in design of future projects. Develops and maintains relationships with customers.

Other Member of Projects Management Office and ensures overall department is operating effectively and efficiently. Assigns workload to Project Coordinator(s). Responsible for the efficient operation of the PMO Maintain high quality project delivery in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner.

Ensures vehicles and equipment are set up for efficient and effective work to be performed. Training of self and others. Work to ensure a positive work culture in the office and built lively team collaboration Qualifications and Skill Requirements Previous Engineer, Technician or Management Experience in BAS Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work under pressure.

Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Financial literate and strong understanding of contractual agreements and contacts Able to Work independently with minimal supervision. Strong leadership skills.

Collaborate with field and office staff. Make informed decisions based on personal judgment. Collaborate with others when required.

A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements. Strong computer skills
