About the Role GInfra is expanding its presence within the aerospace and defense ecosystem and is looking for a Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Lead to drive market growth, strategic relationships, and commercial opportunities. This is a high-visibility role that works closely with leadership to build relationships across defense organizations, aerospace companies, government stakeholders, and industry partners. The ideal candidate has experience navigating defense procurement environments, identifying commercial opportunities, and building long-term partnerships within the aerospace, defense, homeland security, or aviation sectors.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Growth Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across defense, aerospace, homeland security, and related sectors. Build and manage relationships with government agencies, defense organizations, OEMs, system integrators, and strategic partners. Support bid identification, opportunity qualification, and commercial engagement activities.
Develop and execute market-entry and growth strategies for new products and services. Strategic Partnerships Establish partnerships with defense contractors, aerospace firms, technology providers, research institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders. Represent the company in industry engagements, conferences, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Build a strong industry presence and expand the company's network within the defense ecosystem. Market Intelligence Track defense procurement programs, industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity. Identify opportunities arising from government initiatives, modernization programs, and defense investments.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership. Leadership Collaboration Work closely with founders and senior leadership on growth initiatives and strategic planning. Support development of business cases, customer presentations, partnership proposals, and commercial discussions.
What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, or market development within aerospace, defense, aviation, homeland security, or related sectors. Strong understanding of defense procurement processes and stakeholder ecosystems. Experience managing enterprise or government-facing relationships.
Demonstrated ability to generate business opportunities and build strategic partnerships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred Experience Experience with defense OEMs, UAV/drone companies, aerospace firms, defense-tech startups, or government contractors. Existing network within the Indian defense and aerospace ecosystem. Exposure to international defense or aerospace markets.
