Job Description
What will you deliver? Respond proactively to reactive jobs, completing diagnostics, fault finding and repair of complex mechanical systems in accordance with relevant standards, operational procedures, legislation and guidance. Respond to BMS alerts and phone calls during night shifts, acting as the initial point of contact, assessing the nature of the issue, allocating tasks to team members, and completing necessary documentation. Ensure all records are handed over to the Helpdesk team at the start of their shift to support effective service continuity. Obtain Competent Person status following training and instruction for systems such as low voltage electrical systems, access control systems, alarm systems and medical gas installations. Act as an Authorised Person after appropriate training and familiarisation. Work on emergency lighting, nurse calls, general electrics and fire alarms, among other systems. What can we offer you? City and Guilds levels 2 and 3 AM2 certification Knowledge of the 18th Edition of Electrical Safety Regulations Previous experience within a maintenance environment Experience in a healthcare maintenance environment is desirable Applicants must pass a DBS Standard check and provide evidence of right to work in the UK.
