Field Service Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Training Location: Midlands Applicants should ideally live within one hour of the company's site. Opportunity Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a CNC Service Engineer to join a well-established machine tool business with an excellent reputation within the manufacturing sector. This role offers a mix of field service and occasional site‑based work, providing variety and the opportunity to work on a range of CNC machinery across multiple industries.

Role As a CNC Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of CNC machine tools at customer sites. Key Responsibilities Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on CNC machinery Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults Responding to breakdowns and minimising customer downtime Installing and commissioning new machinery Working on CNC controls, drives, motors, hydraulics and pneumatic systems Producing detailed service reports Providing excellent customer support and technical advice Candidate We are keen to speak with engineers who have experience within: CNC machinery Machine tools Industrial maintenance Field service engineering Manufacturing or production environments You will ideally possess: Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills Experience working with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain or Mazatrol (advantageous) A proactive and customer‑focused approach Full UK Driving Licence Package £30,000 - £40,000 basic salary Door‑to‑door pay Overtime opportunities Company vehicle Pension scheme Ongoing manufacturer and technical training Long‑term career progression Stable and growing business This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer looking to develop their career within the CNC machine tool sector while benefiting from strong support, training and earning potential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
