Quantity Takeoff Specialist – Concrete Formwork & Rebar

Khalsa Inc. is a Canadian construction company specializing in concrete formwork, structural concrete, and reinforcing steel for industrial, commercial, institutional, and high-rise projects across Canada. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Takeoff Specialist to join our Pune office and support our Canadian estimating operations. Position Summary: The Quantity Takeoff Specialist will be responsible for reviewing construction drawings and preparing accurate quantity takeoffs for concrete formwork and reinforcing steel scopes.

The successful candidate will work closely with our estimating team to support tender submissions, budgeting, and project planning. Key Responsibilities: Review structural and architectural drawings Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for: Concrete volumes Formwork areas Wall formwork Slab formwork Column formwork Core walls Reinforcing steel (rebar) Prepare quantity summaries and takeoff reports Verify drawing revisions and identify scope changes Support estimators during tender preparation Maintain organized project records and takeoff databases Coordinate with estimators and project teams to clarify scope requirements Ensure accuracy and consistency of all takeoff deliverables Qualifications & Requirements: 5–10+ years of quantity takeoff or estimating experience Strong experience with concrete formwork and rebar takeoffs Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, AutoCAD, or similar software Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Experience: Industrial, commercial, institutional, or high-rise concrete projects Doka formwork systems PERI formwork systems Aluminum beam gang forms Rebar scheduling and quantity calculations Canadian or North American construction projects What we offer: Competitive salary package International project exposure Long-term career growth opportunities Professional and collaborative work environment Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India Apply: Email your resume and project experience to:
