Commercial Sales Manager About the Role Location Canada Ontario Oakville Country: CANADA State/Province/County: Quebec City: Montreal Company Siemens Energy Canada Limited Organization SE CFO Business Unit Grid Technologies Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional Snapshot of Your Day As Commercial Sales Manager in Grid Technology Solutions (FACTS and Storage), you will be responsible for handling all commercial and financial topics throughout the whole sales/ bid process and be responsible for the preparation and negotiation of the commercial and financial terms and conditions. You will also lead negotiations with the support of the legal team. Further you will interact with a very diverse and international team within the region and the Headquarter.

How Youโ€™ll Make an Impact In this role as Commercial Sales Manager, you will analyze customer requirements, evaluation methods and criteria to develop the winning strategy together with the Sales Manager Understanding business conditions as well as competition pricing Define business models based on business, customer and tax regulations Handle all commercial aspects of the bid such as contract analysis, cost calculation, financing concepts, currency, hedging, risks and opportunities, bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, insurance, export control, compliance etc. Relationship management with external project collaborators such as customers or consortium partners. Prepare and present the Limits of Authority (LoA) according to the protocol required and acting as sparring partner for regions and bid team members Participate in negotiation of T&Cs with the applicable guidelines, lead commercial negotiations in coordination with the relevant departments (Legal, SFS, insurance, Taxes, etc.) Ensuring the correctness of the relevant approvals in accordance with the actual negotiations and providing lessons learned to financially and contractually comparable projects Hands-on attitude is required to manage well the full scope of financial and commercial activities during the sales phase What You Bring A degree in Business Administration/ Management, Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional experience Experience in various finance functions such as commercial project management and commercial bid or sales Management solution business with external customers which includes offer preparation and contraction negotiations Analytical thinking, result and quality-oriented approach, solid professional judgment and problem-solving ability are required competencies Excellent communications skills in French and English; able to clearly and concisely express information to associates, peers and senior management through writing, speaking and presentations Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments Working under time pressure and heavy workload and easy on travels #J-18808-Ljbffr
