Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer at Forrit, you’ll be placed within distributed delivery teams and help deliver high quality work to our various clients. Working closely with developers you’ll be responsible for the quality and accuracy of client requests and internal work as we integrate new clients into our Forrit One platform, and continue the smooth running of existing clients. The ideal candidate will be a solid mid-level tester who has a decent base of experience within the industry, or from adjacent problem spaces.

The candidate should be a keen learner and be willing to assist senior and management team members with improvements to test process. Automation experience is very desirable but there will be opportunities to learn and develop on automation frameworks as part of the role. There will also be opportunities to utilize and integrate AI technologies into our testing workflows.

Key Responsibilities And Duties Working with the QA team and distributed teams to maintain automated testing solutions for all projects Identify opportunities for improvements to test processes and the automated suite Test creation and execution against user stories and tasks, bug creation and verification Assisting distributed teams in maintaining ticket databases, documentation repositories and other systems used by the team Contributing to inter-team activities and ceremonies Creating and maintaining documentation covering all aspects of the testing lifecycle Desirable Skills And Qualifications Demonstrable experience in software testing / development, including an understanding of the different methods of testing Understanding of Agile development methodology Experience with modern automation frameworks using common methodologies such as Page Object Model Good understanding and application of accessible testing, namely WCAG 2.0-2.2 Good understanding and application of web design testing methodologies, such as responsiveness and device testing Excellent written and verbal communication skills ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification is desirable but not mandatory Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 certification is desirable but not necessary Desirable tech Microsoft Playwright HTML + CSS C# / .NET Typescript Claude / Github Copilot Agentic AI JS / nodejs NUnit Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar Figma or similar Jira or similar Confluence or similar Visual Studio IDE + Visual Studio Code Visual testing – Applitools / Percy / BackstopJs #J-18808-Ljbffr
