We’re looking for a performance-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team and elevate our clients’ digital presence to the next level.

About the Role We are looking for a highly creative, strategic, and trend-driven Social Media Marketing Manager to lead the digital presence of multiple brands across platforms. This role goes beyond posting content — the ideal candidate should understand internet culture, audience psychology, platform algorithms, content virality, brand storytelling, and community building. The candidate will be responsible for building impactful social media strategies, leading execution, driving engagement, managing brand communication, and creating content ecosystems that contribute directly to brand awareness and audience growth.

This role requires someone who can think creatively, move quickly with trends, lead teams efficiently, and turn ideas into culturally relevant campaigns and meaningful brand collaborations. Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Brand Building Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand positioning, marketing goals, audience insights, and business objectives. Create platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Threads, and emerging platforms.

Plan monthly and quarterly content calendars with a balance of trending, engagement-driven, informative, and brand-focused content. Build unique digital brand identities and maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual communication. Understand target audiences deeply and create content buckets tailored to customer behavior and platform trends.

Drive organic growth strategies through storytelling, community engagement, and shareable content formats. Develop campaign ideas integrating social media, influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, user-generated content (UGC), and digital activations. Content Planning, Trends & Creative Direction Lead end-to-end content ideation for reels, short-form videos, static creatives, carousels, memes, trend-based content, and interactive campaigns.

Stay updated with current social media trends, platform algorithm updates, trending audio, meme culture, viral formats, and creator economy trends. Identify opportunities for real-time marketing (RTM), moment marketing, and trend hijacking while ensuring brand relevance. Collaborate with creative designers, video editors, copywriters, photographers, and production teams to deliver high-quality content.

Guide teams on content hooks, retention strategies, caption writing, CTA optimization, and engagement-focused storytelling. Ensure content is optimized for reach, saves, shares, watch time, engagement, and discoverability. Oversee shoot planning, scripting, storyboard creation, and execution for social media-first content production.

Coordination with Performance Marketing Team Coordinate closely with the internal performance marketing team to align organic and paid campaign objectives. Ensure content strategies support ad creatives, campaign messaging, and overall digital marketing goals. Community Management & Audience Engagement Build and nurture online communities across all social media platforms.

Ensure timely responses to comments, DMs, mentions, and audience interactions while maintaining brand tone. Handle audience sentiment and online reputation management professionally. Create engagement-led initiatives such as polls, AMA sessions, contests, collaborations, and interactive campaigns.

Build stronger audience retention through consistent engagement strategies and community-driven content. Team Leadership & Client Management Lead and mentor social media executives, content creators, and junior team members. Ensure smooth coordination between internal departments including design, copy, video production, client servicing, and strategy teams.

Manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently. Present campaign ideas, strategies, and monthly reports confidently to clients and internal stakeholders. Maintain proactive client communication and build strong long-term professional relationships.

Take ownership of campaign execution, quality control, and overall brand presence on digital platforms. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing or advertising agency environment. Strong understanding of social media strategy, content marketing, digital culture, and platform-specific best practices.

Proven track record of handling multiple brands and executing successful social media campaigns. Deep knowledge of Instagram growth strategies, Reels optimization, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn content strategy, and emerging content formats. Strong understanding of social media analytics, reporting, audience insights, and engagement metrics.

Strong creative thinking and campaign ideation abilities. Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills. Experience managing shoots, creator collaborations, and influencer campaigns.

Ability to identify trends early and adapt content strategies quickly. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Understanding of social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Later, Google Analytics, etc.

Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment with strong attention to detail and timelines. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, or a related field. Bonus Skills (Preferred) Experience working with lifestyle, fashion, beauty, FMCG, hospitality, entertainment, or D2C brands.

Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms and creator economy trends. Familiarity with AI tools for content ideation, captions, scripting, trend research, and workflow optimization. Experience in meme marketing, viral content strategy, and performance creatives.

Understanding of social commerce, creator collaborations, affiliate marketing, and community-led growth strategies. Understanding of emerging platforms, AI-driven content trends, and evolving social media algorithms.
