Social Media Manager/ Content Lead

We're hiring: Social Media Manager / Content Lead — Amadora Gourmet Ice Cream (Chennai) We're bringing our social media in-house. After years of outsourcing this to agencies, we've decided to build a team that lives and breathes the brand — and we're looking for the person to lead it. A bit about us: Amadora is South India's leading premium artisanal ice cream brand.

Since 2011, we've been making small-batch ice cream, sundaes, and frozen desserts across our stores in Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, supplied by our central production kitchen in Chennai. We care a lot about the craft. The role, in one line: own Amadora's voice on Instagram, build a real audience, and ship work the brand and team are proud of.

What you'll own: → The monthly content calendar across Instagram (primary) and LinkedIn → Caption writing, hook writing, and the brand voice across every post → One direct report — a Content Creator / Videographer-Editor (you'll hire them) → Meta Ads Manager — campaigns, audience targeting, creative testing, budget → Community management with a 2-hour reply SLA during business hours → Weekly performance reviews with the MD every Tuesday morning → Influencer outreach, food bloggers, UGC sourcing → Launch campaigns for new flavours, new stores, and franchise lead-gen Who we're looking for: → 3–5 years running social media for a brand you genuinely cared about → Premium F&B, café, D2C, fashion, or hospitality background is a plus → You can write a caption that makes a person tag a friend (we'll test this) → Comfortable running Meta Ads Manager end-to-end → You understand the difference between vanity metrics and conversion metrics → You have a point of view on what looks premium vs what looks cheap → Fluent English. Tamil is a plus for the Chennai customer base.
