The Sales and Education Executive will drive sales revenue to achieve and exceed sales budget across our retailer footprint. This role involves managing a new makeup brand and Coty's fragrance portfolio. The executive represents authority in the luxury beauty industry and influences retail teams through elevated selling, education, and artistry.
In-store, the Sales and Education Executive sells side by side with the Beauty Advisor, educates on newness and core SKUs, executes in-store events, and cultivates meaningful relationships with store teams and leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES Your main focus: Sales Driven In-Store Activities Drive financial results in stores. Meet or exceed sales plan across all assigned territory Demonstrate a solid understanding of sales, product knowledge, and the luxury retail market to create and execute territory strategies that accelerate growth of retail sales, newness, and core SKUs Accelerate consumer conversion through education, artistry, and coaching of Beauty Advisors and counter associates.
Conduct retention checks with BAs following in-store training sessions Ensure store teams are well-versed in brand messaging, key franchise differentiation, and full assortment knowledge β positioning Coty brands as authority in luxury Execute and lead in-store events and activations aligned with product launches and brand initiatives within the territory, to elevate performance in local markets and build brand awareness Create an atmosphere of positivity β celebrating performance, encouraging open communication, and setting the professional standard for luxury beauty service Serve as a recognized expert within the luxury artistry category, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, and a reputation for credibility with retail partners and consumers Customer Centricity Accelerate customer acquisition and defend consumer retention through exceptional client service Conduct thorough store visit recaps at the conclusion of each door visit, capturing performance insights, opportunities, and follow-up actions β sharing with key stakeholders and manager to drive continuous improvement Provide insight on consumer shopping behaviors, competitor activity, and evolving beauty trends within the luxury store environment Evaluate and monitor inventory levels; elevate replenishment and inventory to optimize in-store sales and prevent missed opportunities Operational Analyze BI Dashboard sales reporting to understand door and territory achievement, opportunities and evolving sales trends Utilize BI Dashboards to monitor core SKU performance and track sales trends following launches, key market trainings and in-store activations Continuously assess and evaluate each door's productivity and brand rank β particularly within top-priority doors. Proactively surface improvement opportunities through education and operations discussions with manager Recruit, hire, and train freelance demonstrators to meet and exceed sales budgets, influencing performance through selling, artistry coaching, and brand education QUALIFICATIONS Essential 3+ years of experience in retail or the service industry 3+ years of beauty or retail management experience; luxury department store or specialty retail experience strongly preferred Makeup artistry experience essential Strong interpersonal communication and empathy skills Sound judgment and the ability to make thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced retail environment Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and a passion for luxury beauty Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint & Teams Base Salary Range: $65-75k CAD EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES We offer equal employment opportunity to qualified individuals without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
