As a Clinical Specialist, Regional , you will provide virtual and in‑person clinical support to providers and patients within an assigned region. Partners closely with Account Executives to identify, develop, and deepen engagement within existing accounts.
Leverages expertise in advanced diabetes therapeutics and technology to independently deliver clinical education and insulin pump training in provider and patient settings following onboarding, positioning CCS as a trusted partner and driving brand loyalty and referral growth. Works in alignment with field sales and clinical services leadership to prioritize activities and optimize performance within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director, National Clinical.
The position location is within an assigned territory, and the placement must be willing to travel frequently. Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, Wyoming; residents are not eligible. Responsibilities Provides clinical support and education to provider offices and patients, leveraging expertise in advanced diabetes technology Independently conducts patient assessment, pre‑pump education, insulin pump training, and post‑training follow‑up in virtual and in‑person settings, ensuring safe and effective therapy initiation Independently delivers CGM and insulin pump in‑services to provider offices, including prescribers, educators, and staff, demonstrating accurate, evidence‑based clinical knowledge and effective teaching in both virtual and in‑person settings Partners with Account Executives to plan and execute provider engagement, coordinating outreach and activities to align with territory strategy Builds and maintains provider and partner relationships through consistent, coordinated engagement and reliable follow‑through on commitments Participates in local and regional diabetes‑related community and professional events to build relationships, increase CCS visibility, and contribute to territory growth Demonstrates sound clinical and professional judgment by adhering to current, evidence‑based standards of care (SoC) and standard operating procedures (SOPs), practicing within defined role scope, and appropriately escalating questions or concerns in alignment with internal teams and providers Communicates clearly, timely, and professionally with providers, OEM partners, and internal stakeholders, following established processes Adapts to changing schedules, environments, and patient or provider needs while maintaining productivity and responsiveness in a dynamic, field‑based setting Ensures timely, accurate, and complete documentation of all patient and provider interactions, education sessions, and outcomes in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements Maintains active licensure and adheres to all applicable regulatory, compliance, and company standards Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information Maintains regular, predictable, and consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the department's needs Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards Desired Outcomes Building Customer Loyalty: Effectively meets and exceeds customer needs, builds productive customer relationships, and takes responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications 5+ years of clinical experience in diabetes care, education, or chronic disease management, including direct patient‑facing care and education Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Active, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Dietitian (RD/LD) required; must be maintained in good standing Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) required Recent (within the past 24 months) hands‑on experience independently providing CGM and insulin pump education, including pump training, to patients required; pediatric experience preferred Current certification on at least one major insulin pump platform required Demonstrated ability to work independently in a field‑based role, build provider relationships, and partner effectively with field sales teams Demonstrated ability to deliver clinical education in both virtual and in‑person settings Working knowledge of diabetes terminology and healthcare reimbursement processes, including regulatory and compliance requirements Knowledge of CGM and insulin pump products, clinical criteria, and coverage requirements preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office required Proficiency using CRM tools Active driver’s license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation CCS is an EEO/AA Employer.
