Job Description
Clinical Quality Analyst (Part-Time) Purpose & Scope: The Clinical Quality Analyst is responsible for the analysis and management of data to support process improvement activities, patient safety, and hospital quality assurance and reporting. The role involves managing data and databases from multiple disciplines—clinical, governmental, and financial—and ensuring the validity and integrity of data while maintaining local databases for use by the quality department and the hospital. Responsibilities Analyze and manage data to support process improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Maintain small local databases for the quality department and hospital-wide use. Ensure data validity, integrity, and proper documentation. Support continuous process improvement across multiple disciplines (quality, patient safety, nursing, operations).
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is required; Master’s degree in health systems management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience: One year in healthcare and statistical analysis; one year in regulatory, safety, and CQI; one year in database management; one year using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel (macros and pivot tables); one year in data interpretation and presentation. Certification / Licensure None required.
