Job Description
Job Title: Wealth Product Lead Location: Mumbai Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Wealth Product Lead to drive the design, development, and scaling of a comprehensive wealth management product suite. This role will be responsible for building differentiated investment offerings, enhancing client engagement, and aligning product strategy with the evolving needs of HNI/UHNI clients. The ideal candidate will combine strong domain expertise in wealth/investment products with a strategic mindset and execution capability to build and scale high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Ownership Own the end-to-end product vision and strategy for wealth management offerings. Design and build differentiated products across asset classes including AIFs, PMS, structured products, and private market opportunities. Continuously evaluate market trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to refine product strategy.
Product Development & Execution Lead the development and launch of new investment products in collaboration with investment, legal, and compliance teams. Structure customized solutions for HNI/UHNI clients including bespoke portfolios and thematic strategies. Drive innovation in product offerings to enhance portfolio performance and diversification.
Client-Centric Product Design Deeply understand client requirements and translate them into relevant product solutions. Work closely with Relationship Managers and Wealth Advisors to gather feedback and improve offerings. Act as the “voice of the client” in product design and enhancements.
Platform & Product Enhancement Strengthen the overall wealth platform by improving product mix, access, and execution capabilities. Ensure seamless integration of products across advisory, execution, and reporting layers. Focus on scalability, usability, and performance of the platform.
Stakeholder Management Collaborate with internal teams including investments, advisory, compliance, operations, and technology. Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and product/investment teams. Engage with external partners such as fund houses, PMS providers, and issuers.
Performance & Metrics Track product performance, client adoption, and revenue contribution. Drive key metrics including AUM growth, product penetration, and client retention. Use data-driven insights to optimize product strategy and offerings.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight Ensure all products are compliant with regulatory frameworks and internal policies. Work closely with compliance teams for approvals, documentation, and risk management. Key Requirements 8–15 years of experience in wealth management, product management, or investment advisory.
Strong exposure to AIFs, PMS, mutual funds, structured products, and alternative investments. Proven track record of launching and scaling investment products. Deep understanding of HNI/UHNI client segments and their investment needs.
Strong network with fund houses, PMS providers, and market participants. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in a family office, private banking, or leading wealth management firm. Strong analytical and product structuring capabilities. Familiarity with regulatory landscape (SEBI guidelines, AIF/PMS frameworks).
