About SoCreative SoCreative helps companies get high-quality video, photography and design done through a network of vetted creators, an in-house team and a platform that handles the brief, review and delivery. Two years in, we're profitable, growing and lean - under 20 people, operating across 7 countries. We work with teams across small to enterprise brands including Google, LinkedIn, Toyota and American Express.
If you want to shape how global brands produce creative at scale, SoCreative is the place to do it. What we're looking for A hands-on product manager to be the operational backbone of our product team. You'll work closely with our founders and engineers to turn product direction into shipped work - writing specs, running sprints, keeping the team focused, and making sure the right things ship on time and on scope.
This is a role for someone who's energised by execution. What you'll do You'll be the operational layer between the founders and engineering. Day-to-day, you're writing specs, grooming the backlog, running planning sessions, and partnering with our tech lead on scoping and trade-offs.
Specs and tickets - Turn product direction from the founders into clear, well-scoped user stories with acceptance criteria, edge cases, and design notes engineers can act on. Sprint operations - Run sprint planning, standups, retros, and grooming. Keep the backlog clean and prioritised.
Track velocity, surface blockers early, and keep delivery on track. Engineering partnership - Work closely with our engineering team on scoping and trade-offs. Make sure engineers know what they're building, why it matters, and what \"done\" looks like.
Customer research support - Help us stay close to customers. Prep interviews, synthesise findings, and pull feedback patterns into the backlog. Metrics and reporting - Define success measures for each feature, track them after release, and keep the team honest about whether what we built actually worked.
Documentation and decisions - Keep product decisions, specs, and rationale documented so context doesn't live only in the founders' heads. What you'll need 3+ years of product management experience at a startup or scale-up where you owned the full delivery process yourself. A strong delivery track record.
You've shipped features end-to-end and can point to specific things you took from idea to live. Detail-oriented but process-light. You can run Linear, Jira, or similar tools cleanly without imposing heavyweight process on a small team.
An excellent written communicator. Your specs are clear, your Slack messages are crisp, and your retro notes are actually useful. Comfortable being directed.
You push back on scope when it matters, but you're not competing for strategic ownership. Technically literate. You read technical documentation, understand engineering trade-offs, and can have substantive conversations with engineers about scoping and feasibility.
Calm and organised. Nice to haves Experience at a creative tech, SaaS, or marketplace company. You've shipped AI-powered features and understand the unique challenges - evals, hallucination handling, prompt iteration.
You've worked closely with founders before and know how to make that relationship productive. This role suits someone who Loves the operational craft of product management - specs, sprints, delivery. Wants high impact through execution.
