Your Impact Participate in and lead critical architecture discussions and planning, ensuring technical decisions support longâterm product success, stability and scalability.
Proactively foresee and resolve systemic issues before they impact the product. Advocate for technical excellence and guide teams toward resilient, highâquality engineering practices. Lead multiâfunctional coordination, planning, and reviews with peers and leads across the organization to ensure smooth delivery.
Act as a multiplier by providing exceptional mentorship, technical guidance, and career development. Empower teams to selfâcoordinate and maintain high morale. Actively participate in the hiring and interview process to maintain and grow a highâperformance engineering culture.
Partner closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with product objectives, define priorities, manage tradeoffs and communicate risks. Occasionally contribute to deeply technical development tasks to maintain handsâon expertise and critical support. Ensure teams are equipped with clear priorities and adequate resources to maintain velocity and deliver committed outcomes.
Make critical, dataâdriven decisions that directly contribute to the success and reliability of the product. Required Skills 10+ years of progressive industry experience, including 3+ years directly managing highâperforming software engineering teams. Deep technical background in scalable, highlyâavailable platform development, focusing on Java/JVM and modern cloud architecture.
Expertise in a major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) combined with Kubernetes and InfrastructureâasâCode (Terraform). Proven track record for implementing endâtoâend service ownership, building reliable, selfâhealing services and driving robust automation. Experience leading complex programs and managing crossâfunctional stakeholders within a highly matrixed organization.
Experience driving strategy around openâsource technologies. Strong foundation in Agile/Scrum, secure coding practices and uncompromising code quality. Exceptional communication, influence and interpersonal skills needed to inspire teams and drive technical alignment.
Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent; Masterâs degree with 2+ years of related experience.
