Job Description

Drive commercial growth as the Business Development Manager at UBC’s quantum-focused Blusson QMI. This role is crucial for fostering client relationships and expanding service usage. In this role, you will lead initiatives that support revenue generation and enhance the commercialization of Blusson QMI's nanofabrication capabilities.

Collaborating with industry partners, you will manage contracts, identify funding opportunities, and conduct engaging industry events. Your proactive approach will help strengthen the ecosystem for quantum technologies in British Columbia. Key Responsibilities: • Create comprehensive strategies for revenue growth in nanofabrication • Facilitate client engagement and long-term relationship management • Oversee contract lifecycle and compliance for services • Match grant opportunities with principal investigators • Plan and execute strategic industry events on campus Requirements: • Undergraduate degree with at least 6 years in business development • Proven success in generating revenue in advanced technology sectors • Established connections in technology networks • Experience with contract and compliance processes • Familiarity with the Canadian innovation and funding landscape Leverage your business acumen to advance UBC's mission in the quantum field through strategic partnerships and service excellence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
