This position is for a BIM Consultant in our Environment & Health Department. Your New Role As a BIM Consultant, you will deliver high‑quality 3D models and digital products that support planning, design, renovation, and operations for a wide range of facilities.
You will be part of Galago, Ramboll’s innovation and digital transformation team, collaborating with architects, engineers, GIS specialists, and construction professionals. Key Responsibilities Create accurate 3D BIM models of buildings, utilities, and physical environments using reality‑capture data (laser scanning, photogrammetry). Process, analyze, and manage LiDAR‑derived point clouds for Scan‑to‑BIM workflows.
Perform model coordination and quality control using Revit, Navisworks, and related platforms. Apply and communicate BIM standards, LOD requirements, and Scan‑to‑BIM best practices to project teams and stakeholders. Recommend and implement BIM and CAD workflows tailored to project needs and delivery requirements.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, Architecture, or similar) with 5+ years of professional BIM experience. Hands‑on experience with Revit and AutoCAD on complex, multidisciplinary projects. Strong knowledge of BIM coordination practices, digital delivery processes, and industry standards, including familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud / Autodesk Forma and model coordination workflows.
Experience with Scan‑to‑BIM workflows and reality capture technologies such as 3D laser scanning and photogrammetry; GIS software and spatial data integration is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across diverse project teams. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $82,000‑$102,000 annually.
