Junior Project Manager

Job Summary We are working with a reputable, busy Mechanical & Electrical contractor, delivering high-quality design, installation, and maintenance services across commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK. The business is well established, with a strong pipeline of work and is recognised for its high staff retention and collaborative team environment. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to step into project management and develop their career within a supportive and experienced team, working on mechanical building services projects ranging from £100k to £10M. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will assist in the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Key Responsibilities Supporting the delivery of mechanical projects from start to finish Assisting with programme management and coordination of works Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Supporting health, safety, and quality compliance on projects Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontractors Monitoring project progress and reporting to senior management Attending client and site meetings Supporting cost control and budget tracking Requirements Previous experience within Mechanical Building Services (site, design, or estimating background considered) Strong organisational and communication skills Good understanding of construction processes and project delivery Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Eagerness to learn and progress into a Project Management role What's on Offer Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience) Full training and clear career progression into Project Management Supportive and collaborative team environment Exposure to a wide range of high-value and technically challenging projects This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and develop into a fully‑fledged Project Manager within a growing and forward‑thinking MEP contractor.
