Junior/Mid Software Developer (Investment Banking - Trading) Day Rate: £500-£650 (Inside IR35, Umbrella) Duration: 6 months initially, with scope for extensions Location: Central London - 3 days onsite per week We're looking for a Junior/Mid Software Developer to join a technology team supporting trading and transaction processing systems for a leading Investment bank. Responsibilities: Developing, maintaining, and supporting an FX Options deal capture and notification platform Working closely with developers, business analysts, and support teams to deliver changes into production Debugging and resolving production issues (3rd line support) Contributing to technical and functional analysis, including breaking work into tasks and tracking progress Supporting releases, environment preparation, and pre-production testing Producing clear documentation to improve team knowledge and support capability What we're looking for: 2/3+ years of continuous commercial development experience Strong evidence of individual contributions to sizeable projects Demonstrable ownership, pro activeness, and attention to detail Communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders Banking experience not essential Required technical experience: C#, C++, Python XML, IIS Ability to debug and support production systems Reasonable Adjustments: Respect and equality are core values to us.
