Job Title Contract .NET Engineer Overview Ocho is partnering with a Belfast-based organisation to hire a Contract .NET Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale, business-critical platforms used globally. This is an 8-month contract sitting outside IR35, offering a largely remote working model with occasional on-site collaboration as required. Youll join a high-performing engineering team working on modern, scalable systems in a product-led environment.

Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable .NET applications Develop high-quality, performant backend services Work across modern architectures including APIs and distributed systems Collaborate with engineering, product and QA teams in an Agile environment Contribute to system design, performance optimisation and best practices Ensure code quality through testing and peer review Person We Are Looking For Strong commercial experience with .NET / C# Experience building scalable, high-performance backend systems Solid understanding of APIs, microservices and distributed systems Experience working in cloud environments is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment Contract Details Outside IR35 8-month contract Belfast-based company Largely remote with occasional office attendance required Competitive daily rate Apply here or reach out to Aaron Somers at Ocho for more information via LinkedIn.
