Job Description
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to drive customer acquisition, order growth, and market penetration across our dark store network. This role will be responsible for building hyperlocal growth strategies, improving customer acquisition and retention at a regional level, and driving business performance across cities and catchments. The ideal candidate should come from a Quick Commerce, Food Delivery, Grocery Delivery, E-commerce, or Consumer Internet background and have experience scaling growth across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities Hyperlocal Customer Acquisition Own customer acquisition and order growth targets across assigned dark stores and regions. Develop localized growth strategies based on customer demographics, competition, category demand, and market potential. Drive new customer acquisition through digital, offline, partnerships, referral, and community-led initiatives.
Improve penetration and awareness within dark store catchment areas. Regional Business Growth Analyze business performance at city, zone, and dark store levels. Identify underperforming regions and implement targeted growth plans.
Build region-specific marketing calendars, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives. Drive growth in active customers, orders, basket size, and frequency. Market Expansion & Demand Generation Partner with category, commercial, and operations teams to drive demand generation.
Develop acquisition programs for new dark store launches and market expansion. Monitor competitive activity and recommend tactical interventions to gain market share. Create hyperlocal campaigns that increase customer adoption and repeat usage.
Performance Marketing & Growth Work closely with central performance marketing teams to optimize acquisition spends by city, region, and catchment. Monitor CAC, conversion rates, activation rates, and ROI at a micro-market level. Ensure efficient allocation of marketing budgets across regions based on business potential.
Customer Retention & Engagement Develop localized retention strategies to improve repeat purchases and customer lifetime value. Partner with CRM teams to execute region-specific customer journeys and engagement campaigns. Drive loyalty, referral, and win-back initiatives.
Analytics & Insights Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track growth performance across dark stores. Conduct cohort, funnel, and customer behavior analysis. Leverage data to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing investments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Category, Product, Analytics, CRM, and Commercial teams. Partner with regional teams to execute growth initiatives on the ground. Manage agencies, local partnerships, and marketing vendors where required.
Key Metrics Owned New Customers per Dark Store Active Customers Orders per Day (OPD) Market Share within Catchment Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) Customer Retention Rate Repeat Purchase Rate Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) Revenue Growth Contribution to Regional P&L Desired Candidate Profile Must Have 5โ8 years of experience in Growth Marketing, Business Growth, Regional Marketing, Customer Acquisition, or Market Expansion. Experience in Quick Commerce, Food Delivery, Grocery Delivery, E-commerce, Retail, or Consumer Internet businesses. Strong understanding of hyperlocal growth and regional business dynamics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with large datasets and growth metrics. Proven track record of driving customer acquisition and business growth across multiple markets.
