Job Description
Overview Location: Dallas, TX (Relocation support available, onsite role) We’re looking for an experienced leader in civil and electrical construction to take on the role of General Manager. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to oversee operations, guide a team of 7–8, and drive growth across projects in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), illumination, and signage. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of 7–8 direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
Manage day-to-day operations and ensure the safe, high-quality execution of ITS, illumination, and signage projects. Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategy, set budgets, and establish operational goals. Spearhead growth initiatives to position the business for long-term success.
Uphold and promote best practices in safety, compliance, and technical excellence. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in civil or electrical construction environments. Solid technical background in transportation and distribution (T&D) or municipal projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred). Experience in ITS, roadway lighting, or signage projects is a strong plus. A proactive, adaptable leader who excels in fast-paced, evolving settings.
