Job Description
General Manager Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of a store. The GM will maintain operations, manage staff, ensure a superior customer experience, and meet financial targets.
Responsibilities Open the store at 4 a.m. and close by 2 p.m., ensuring audit readiness and inventory accuracy. Serve as a leader across all positions, providing training, coaching, and support during peak hours. Manage P&L, food cost control, labor scheduling, and daily deposits.
Ensure exceptional customer service and collect survey results. Handle operations, catering, mobile, and in‑store orders. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and inventory during non‑peak times.
Participate in a 5‑week training program to become familiar with store procedures. Qualifications Minimum 18 years old. 1–3 years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting. Hands‑on operational experience with the ability to motivate a team.
Experience analyzing P&L and achieving food cost and labor targets. Strong recruiting and talent development skills. Salary and Benefits Competitive salary: $80,000 per year.
