We are looking for a Finance CAPEX Analyst to join our Global CapEx Controlling organization . This role supports effective governance, transparency, and execution of capital expenditure processes across Lonza. You will provide hands‑on end‑user support for CapEx systems and tools, contribute to policies and procedures, and deliver reporting and ad‑hoc financial analysis. By ensuring high‑quality financial data, strong process adherence, and timely stakeholder support, this role enables sound investment decision‑making aligned with Lonza’s strategic priorities.

What you’ll get The opportunity to work within a global Finance organization in a leading life sciences company Exposure to enterprise CapEx tools including SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI Collaboration with global stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business functions A collaborative, inclusive, and ethical workplace culture Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with role and experience Opportunities for professional growth through global Finance processes and projects What you’ll do Act as the primary contact for end‑user inquiries related to CapEx tools, including eCAR, CFRS (CapEx Financial Reporting System) in SAP Analytics Cloud, and Power BI Provide ongoing end‑user support by coordinating closely with IT on incident resolution, system enhancements, testing, and release activities Support CapEx tool go‑lives and enhancements, including user communication, testing, and post‑go‑live stabilization Manage user access for CapEx systems and monitor correct, compliant usage Support and manage requests for new Investment Numbers, ensuring alignment with the approved global CapEx budget Execute the bi‑annual ESR review process under the guidance of the Global CapEx Process Owner Support preparation and review of CapEx business cases, ensuring adherence to policies, financial accuracy, and company guidelines Provide general CapEx process and policy support through monitoring and responding to inquiries via the GPO mailbox, email, and phone Support ad‑hoc requests, including preparation of analyses and presentations for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors Perform additional duties and projects as required to support Global CapEx Controlling objectives What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Experience in CapEx controlling, financial analysis, or finance operations within a corporate environment Exposure to enterprise finance systems and reporting tools Strong knowledge of CapEx controlling principles and financial governance Solid business acumen with the ability to understand key investment decision drivers Excellent analytical and financial skills with strong attention to detail Strong IT and systems aptitude, including experience with reporting and analytics tools Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple organizational levels Proactive, collaborative team player with a continuous‑improvement mindset Adaptability and change management capability in evolving process and system environments
