Junior Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst to join their Strategy & Insights team. You will be responsible to provide critical market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and strategic insights to support product, growth, and executive teams in making informed decisions across their fintech operations. Core Responsibilities : Conduct structured research and analysis on fintech trends, digital banking, payments, embedded finance, and regulatory developments across APAC Track competitor activity and develop benchmarking reports on product features, pricing, and market positioning Prepare concise research briefs, presentations, and internal strategy documents for key stakeholders Translate market and user data into actionable insights to support product and commercial teams Collaborate with teams across Product, Risk, Growth, and Strategy to support ongoing initiatives Maintain research databases and stay on top of emerging industry trends (e.g., MAS policies, BNPL shifts, digital ID frameworks) Key Competencies : 1 - 4 years of experience in research, strategy, consulting, financial services, or a fintech-related role Strong business acumen with a passion for technology and innovation in financial services Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides; exposure to SQL or BI tools (e.g., Tableau) is a bonus Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex findings into clear takeaways Familiarity with the Southeast Asian fintech landscape is highly preferred
