This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial data, strong compliance, and effective financial processes across the organization.Key Responsibilities Oversee and maintain the integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, including loans, shares, and fixed assets Ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory guidance Manage monthly and annual close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, account analysis, and journal entries Supervise accounts payable, fixed assets, and daily cash and liquidity management; prepare daily cash position reporting Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis; prepare management reporting and recommendations Oversee vendor management processes, including contract tracking, risk assessment, due diligence, and compliance Manage capital asset acquisition processes and monitor capital spending against budget Participate in annual budget preparation, annual reporting, and Asset Liability Management activities Communicate financial, accounting, and vendor management updates to senior leadership Lead and develop accounting staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and timecard approvals Ensure departmental compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and information privacy standards Support organizational initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage staff, processes, and cross-functional relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within financial services 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience CPA preferred Interested in hearing more?
