Job Title: Senior Compliance Manager โ Group Compliance & Sustainability Location: Noida (Corporate Office) with regular travel to all manufacturing units Reporting To: Factory Manager About the Role Tulip Group is seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and results-driven Senior Compliance Manager to lead and manage all compliance, sustainability, ethical sourcing, environmental, and social responsibility requirements across the Group's manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all factories consistently meet and exceed international compliance standards while preparing the organization for customer audits, certification renewals, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a leadership position responsible for managing compliance across five garment manufacturing units and one integrated dyeing, printing & processing mill, ensuring world-class compliance systems are maintained throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities - Lead and oversee complete compliance operations for all Group manufacturing facilities. - Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance systems, SOPs, and internal policies. - Ensure complete readiness for announced and unannounced customer, certification, and regulatory audits. - Manage and maintain all social, environmental, ethical, security, and sustainability certifications. - Coordinate with international buyers, certification bodies, consultants, and government authorities. - Lead internal audit programs and ensure timely closure of corrective action plans (CAPs). - Monitor legal compliance related to labour laws, factory regulations, fire safety, environmental norms, occupational health & safety, and statutory requirements. - Build and mentor compliance teams across all manufacturing locations. - Conduct regular compliance training for management and factory employees. - Develop sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement programs across the organization. - Prepare compliance reports, management dashboards, and risk assessments for senior leadership. - Coordinate with HR, Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Management to ensure seamless compliance implementation. - Ensure complete documentation, record keeping, and audit preparedness at all times. Compliance Standards & Certifications The candidate must possess strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in managing: - GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) - BSCI - SA8000 - Inditex Compliance Requirements - H&M Sustainability & Social Compliance Standards - ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) - OEKO-TEX - GRS (Global Recycled Standard) - OCS (Organic Content Standard) - WRAP - SEDEX / SMETA - Higg Index - ISO Standards - Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) - Chemical Management Systems - Wastewater & Effluent Treatment Compliance - Factory Fire & Building Safety Standards - Labour Law Compliance - ESG & Sustainability Reporting - Any other international buyer-specific compliance and certification requirements. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Sustainability, Textile Technology, or a related field. - Professional certifications in Compliance, Sustainability, EHS, or Social Auditing will be an added advantage. Experience - Minimum 10โ15 years of experience in compliance management within the textile, garment, dyeing, printing, or manufacturing industry. - Demonstrated experience handling multiple manufacturing facilities. - Strong exposure to export-oriented manufacturing environments. - Proven track record of successfully managing customer audits and certification renewals. Required Skills - Excellent leadership and people management abilities. - Strong understanding of international buyer requirements. - Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to work under pressure and meet audit deadlines. - High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. - Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems. - Willingness to travel extensively between manufacturing facilities.
