Role Title: Centralized Cross Liability Analyst Position Summary: Perform cross liability analysis for standard accounts, identifying locations with cross liability that require adjustments to how capacity are structured and allocated, beyond standard risk transfer outputs. Determine linesetting (LS) diagrams and capacity allocations, considering loss scenarios, aggregation exposure, risk quality,and reinsurance impacts. Proactively communicates findings to the Operations for cross liability capacity impacted locations, including any instructions related to necessary adjustment(s) to reinsurance on line settings.
Update and maintain cross liability scenarios in Account Insight Cross Liability. Collaborate with Staff Underwriting, Staff Engineering, Division, and Operations personnel as necessary to resolve any scenarios, including confirming the loss scenario, MFL/Amount Subject, risk quality, and available capacity for lines etting. Job Responsibilities: Perform a cross liability analysis for requested standard accounts by gathering, evaluating, and documenting exposure data and identifying cross liability exposures that warrant a LS adjustment from what Risk Transfer would otherwise have generated.
Determine and finalize linesetting diagrams and capacity allocations by validatingrisk quality inputs, confirming MFL, and reinsurance impacts. Create, validate, and maintain cross liability scenarios in Account Insight Cross Liability, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to processstandards Communicate findings of analysis to Staff Underwriting, Staff Engineering, Division,and Operations personnel as necessary to resolve any complex cross liability scenarios, including confirming the loss scenario, MFL/Amount Subject, risk quality,and available capacity for linesetting Identify minor data or workflow improvements Skill and Experience: 2+ years of experiencerequired to perform essential job functions. 2+ years experience underwriting commercial property Additional Experience Qualifier (optional): Exposure to commercial insurance, underwriting support, insurance operations, risk services, or data/analytical roles Understand the basic transactions of underwriting procedures General knowledge of loss prevention procedures and how they impact the underwriting process Strong planning and organizing skills, solution oriented Strong data accuracy and validation skills with ability to identify inconsistencies Clear written communication skills Considerable computer and analytical skills Positive attitude Results driven High level attention to detail when handling account information and documentation Must Have Skills: Ability to gather, validate, and synthesize data from multiple systems. Comfortable making fact based decisions about property exposures.
