Branch Manager

Job Summary Reporting to the District Vice President, the Branch Manager (BM) oversees the Columbia and Greenville branch locations. This role requires commuting to and from the sites as needed. The BM is responsible for overall branch staff, P&L, security, customer service, and growth initiatives.

Salary Range Salary Range: $95,000.00 to $102,000.00 per year, commensurate with skill set, experience, and competency in operational leadership roles. Bonus: Up to 60% annually based on individual and company performance. Specific Responsibilities P&L control of branch labor, revenue, and profit margin.

Recruiting, interviewing, testing, selecting, and training operations personnel; coaching and evaluating supervisors. Overseeing route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations through respective supervisors. Maintaining vehicles, forklifts, and equipment; ensuring preventive maintenance and repairs.

Controlling operational costs. Ensuring safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training and enforcement of policies. Protecting cargo and terminal security through training and enforcement of policies.

Investigating accidents and filing required paperwork. Developing and maintaining customer service capabilities; responding to inquiries and complaints. Coordinating with sales, other Loomis branches, corporate staff, carriers, and vendors.

Controlling overtime, monitoring vacation schedules, and maintaining efficient operations. Short- and long-range operational planning to meet branch goals. Key Relationships Consult with the District Vice President daily.

Supervise, train, counsel, discipline, and evaluate supervisors and hourly employees. Communicate with customers regularly. Coordinate with sales and administration regarding service, customer, and payroll updates.
