Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and technically accomplished RF Power Amplifier Design Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced RF power amplifier solutions for mission-critical Aerospace and Defense applications. This role is ideal for professionals with deep hands-on expertise in RF Power Amplifier Design, high-power RF systems, and engineering team leadership.
Location: Chennai (Siruseri), Tamil Nadu Work Mode: Full-Time | Onsite (Work From Office) Industry: Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing β³ Experience: 10β15 Years Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech (ECE / EEE) β‘ Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred (30β60 Days) Key Responsibilities RF Design & Development Design and develop RF Power Amplifiers for Radar, Electronic Warfare, Satellite Communication, and Avionics applications. Work across frequency ranges from 1 MHz to 40 GHz. Develop Pulsed and CW High-Power Amplifiers up to 4 kW.
Implement high-power combining techniques and advanced RF architectures. Perform RF circuit design, schematic development, RF PCB reviews, and BOM preparation. Conduct load-pull analysis, impedance matching, and efficiency optimization.
Simulation & Validation Perform RF and EM simulations using ADS, HFSS, AWR, Cadence, and related tools. Execute prototype validation and qualification activities. Support compliance testing including MIL-STD-461E/F.
Conduct S-parameter, gain, linearity, efficiency, and IMD testing. Review thermal, structural, reliability, and FMECA analyses. Project Leadership Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the complete product lifecycle.
Manage project schedules, technical deliverables, and customer requirements. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and customer stakeholders. Participate in design reviews and technical decision-making forums.
Mentoring & Technical Excellence Mentor RF engineers and establish best practices in RF PA design. Develop internal design guidelines and technical standards. Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives and continuous process improvement.
