Hybrid Senior Analyst Pension Operations

Join Emera as a Senior Analyst in Pension Operations, in a hybrid work environment in Halifax, NS. Utilize your expertise in pension management and investment operations while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. As a key member of the Pension Investments Team, you will report to the Director and work closely with the Analyst, Pension Investments.

Your role will focus on managing accounting and investment operations while ensuring prudential governance. This dynamic position offers a variety of tasks aimed at expanding your knowledge of the pension management industry. Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day operations with pension plan custodian • Prepare financial statements with internal accounting team • Coordinate internal controls and compliance with SOX • Lead due diligence processes for external vendors • Prepare reports and presentations for pension committees Requirements: • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline • Minimum 3 years relevant experience • CPA or CFA designation preferred • Knowledge of internal controls and pension plan management • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Contribute your skills in pension operations and shape the future of Emera’s Pension Investments Team in Halifax. #J-18808-Ljbffr
