Job Description
Specialist Occupational Therapist – Specialist Eating Disorders Service An exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a specialised multi‑disciplinary team within the mental health service for eating disorders across Cwm Taf and Cardiff and Vale UHBs. Responsibilities Shape the therapeutic offer and service strategy within Occupational Therapy. Provide supervision to junior occupational therapy staff. Daily management of the Occupational Therapy service delivery in the clinical area. Deliver holistic assessment and interventions to optimise function for individuals with high‑risk eating disorders. Engage with a service development initiative and collaborate with other professions. Qualifications Experienced Occupational Therapist with work in high‑risk eating disorder settings. Excellent communication skills and effective team working. Strong interest in service improvement and development.
Knowledge of functional, cognitive and sensory rehabilitation techniques. Ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary team. Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh. #J-18808-Ljbffr
