Performance Marketing Technology Specialist E-Commerce Technology Team Role Summary We are looking for a skilled Performance Marketing Technology Specialist to join the E- Commerce Technology team. This role is responsible for implementing, managing, and troubleshooting marketing technology integrations across a multi-brand, multi-market e- commerce ecosystem - spanning platforms including Shopify Plus and Magento. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in analytics and advertising platforms, a strong foundation in tag management and server-side tracking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, multi-country ecommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities Implementation • Set up and configure marketing tracking integrations (GA4, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Meta/Facebook) across e-commerce platforms - Shopify Plus, Magento, and other ad hoc digital touchpoints. • Implement and manage tag deployments via Google Tag Manager (GTM), including server-side tagging setups. • Integrate and validate conversion events, pixel tracking, and feed configurations across advertising platforms. • Implement Google and Facebook Product Feeds using API, XML, and CSV formats to support performance marketing campaigns. • Configure and maintain Meta Conversions API (CAPI) for server-side event tracking. Operations & Monitoring • Conduct regular monitoring and audit checks across tracking implementations to ensure data accuracy and signal health. • Identify, debug, and resolve tracking discrepancies and integration failures across platforms and storefronts. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for any issues impacting data collection, ad performance, or feed delivery. • Maintain documentation of integration setups, tag inventories, and audit findings. • Coordinate with internal engineering, PMO, and client stakeholders on issue resolution and go-live validations. Required Skills & Technical Proficiency GA4 (Google Analytics 4) Google Tag Manager (GTM) Google Ads Integration Meta Pixel (CAPI) TikTok Ads Pixel Shopify Plus Integrations Magento Integrations Server-Side Tracking Google Feed API Facebook Feed (API/XML/CSV) Meta Ads Manager Google Merchant Center Qualifications & Experience • 2+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing technology, tracking implementation, or analytics engineering. • Demonstrated experience working with GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads dashboards. • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus and/or Magento) and their analytics/marketing integrations. • Experience with server-side tracking implementations (Google SSGTM or similar). • Proficiency in reading and manipulating product feeds - XML, CSV, and API-based formats. • Ability to debug JavaScript, data layer events, and network requests using browser developer tools. • Strong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and attribution quality. • Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with marketing, engineering, and PMO teams.
Nice to Have • Experience with Unbxd, MoEngage, or similar MarTech platforms. • Familiarity with Looker Studio / Google Data Studio for reporting dashboards. • Knowledge of cookie consent frameworks (OneTrust, CookieYes) and their impact on tracking. • Understanding of SEO signals and their overlap with analytics implementation. • Exposure to multi-market, multi-brand e-commerce operations across Southeast Asia. Success Metrics Note: Formal KPIs and KRAs for this role are to be defined in alignment with the client team. The following are suggested success indicators: • Zero data loss due to tracking failures across monitored storefronts. • Audit issues resolved within agreed SLA timelines. • Successful go-live of all new tracking/feed integrations without rework. • Monthly audit reports delivered with clear RCA and remediation steps. • Stakeholder satisfaction from the E-Commerce Product Technology team.
