DNV Energy Systems is hiring a Project Manager Solar Independent Engineering within ourteam.

In this role, you will work on a variety of solar and solar + storage projects throughout North America. You will be exposed to the entire project life cycle, working with the biggest developers and financiers in the space with cutting edge technology. This role can be based out of a DNV office in the following markets: Oakland (CA), San Diego (CA), Austin (TX), Houston (TX), Portland (OR), Seattle (WA), New York City (NY), Medford (MA), or Dallas (TX), presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site.

For California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland: DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the states of California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland only, the starting pay range for this role is $85,000 - $140,000.

About you What is Required Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, energy, or other related field is required Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the solar industry Deft project and time management skills, including an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines Fluent in MS Office Solution oriented thinking skills and high integrity Understanding of energy industry technology (modules, inverters, mounting systems/trackers, balance of system, etc.) Supportive, resilient, flexible and proactive team member, eager to work in a collaborative environment Proven HSE mindset and demonstrated behavior‑based safety mentality Possesses a digitally curious mindset and has knowledge in AI, automation and digital tools, with demonstrated experience in continuous improvement activities.
