Manager/Senior Manager - Statutory Audit (Banking)

Job Description KPMG Resource Centre (KRC) is a team of 3,000+ colleagues serving audit clients of primarily KPMG Europe and a few other countries. KRC’s services include end-to-end Audits, IT Audits, Data Analytics, Engagement Support Hub, Transaction Assurance and ESG, among others. Responsibilities We are recruiting for a Manager in the Financial Service Audit team. In this team, your responsibilities will include leading a team of experienced professionals, perform reviews and work on Audit engagements of international KPMG teams and Financial Service and/or international clients.

In addition, you will be required to: Auditing and in charging complex sections of the financial statements of companies or end to end audit as per country specific statutory requirements. Prepare and present audit workpapers, document audit procedures and audit findings. Identify issues/missing information, manage & track the open issues until resolved.

Being active member of the Financial Service Audit engagement team and perform and supervise in audit procedures. Contacting client and onshore team regularly to update on the progress of audit engagement. Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.

Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members. Building relationships with senior stakeholders both onshore as well as KRC. Qualifications This role is for you if you have the below: Educational qualifications Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g.

ICAI or ACCA) Work experience The candidate must have 5+ years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big4 accounting. Experience: Banking knowledge not mandatory, but the candidate should be interested in financial services and knowledge of regulatory audits
