Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr Company Description At Autoscience Institute, we create AI systems that autonomously conduct AI research. Recently, we announced the first AI agent to autonomously create peer-reviewed literature (ICLR 2025 Workshops). We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and contributing to groundbreaking advancements in the field. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end systems, designing and implementing software solutions, and creating production infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with our research teams to enhance our automated research capabilities.

Qualifications Experience working in 24/7 production environments Demonstrable experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine Demonstrable performance with Python and TypeScript/JavaScript (provide github link) Strong skills in designing software (be ready to submit design docs) Experience with Back-End/Front-end Development, logging, and analytics Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with Agile methods Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, EE or a related field Experience with AI and machine learning is a plus We are an e-verify employer.
