Devops Engineer Winnipeg

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer with robust experience in Azure cloud environments, Windows administration, and database management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in deploying, managing, automating, and supporting complex enterprise applications and infrastructure in a cloud-first environment. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to work independently on complex infrastructure and application-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities Deploy, manage, and support enterprise applications in Azure cloud environments Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions Administer and maintain Windows-based systems and services Manage and support MS SQL databases, including SSRS and SSIS components Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Shell, Bash, or Python Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains Implement configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SALT, or Chef Monitor infrastructure, applications, logging, and performance across environments Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and infrastructure issues Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams within Agile environments Support cloud migration initiatives and modernization projects Contribute as a senior technical SME within critical enterprise environments Required Skills & Experience 8–10+ years of overall IT experience in infrastructure, cloud, or DevOps engineering Strong hands-on experience with: Windows Server administration PowerShell scripting and automation MS SQL Server administration and support (SSRS/SSIS) CI/CD and DevOps methodologies Experience with: Terraform, Ansible, SALT, or Chef Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus, or similar DevOps tools Python, Bash, Shell scripting, or automation development Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and operational support Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles Dexian is an Equal Prospect Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
