Finance Business Analyst

Role Overview We are seeking a Finance Domain Expert who can also play the role of Product Manager for xfactrs. The ideal candidate should bring deep experience in finance operations, enterprise finance processes, and ERP-led finance transformation. The candidate should have strong business process knowledge across finance functions and hands-on experience with enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Financials, or similar platforms.

This role requires close collaboration with customers, finance stakeholders, implementation teams, and product development teams to identify business challenges, define requirements, and help deliver solutions that strengthen financial controls, improve revenue assurance, and generate actionable business insights. Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Process Recommendations Guide the delivery and product teams in understanding finance processes and operating models across industries, especially for organizations with subscription-based, recurring revenue, and usage-based business models. Identify and document industry best practices related to financial controls, compliance, reconciliations, reporting, audit readiness, and process automation.

Track emerging AI trends in finance and assess their relevance to xfactrs’ product roadmap and customer use cases. Product Definition Conduct customer interviews and discovery sessions with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, Procurement, and IT stakeholders. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and product enhancement needs.

Translate customer pain points and finance process gaps into clear product requirements for engineering and delivery teams. ERP & Finance Transformation Understand end-to-end finance processes, including: Quote-to-Cash (QTC) Order-to-Activate (O2A) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Record-to-Report (R2R) Revenue Recognition Subscription Billing Financial Close & Reconciliation Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Work with customers implementing, optimizing, or modernizing ERP platforms such as: Oracle ERP Cloud / E-Business Suite SAP S/4HANA NetSuite Microsoft Dynamics 365 Workday Financials Understand integrations between ERP systems and surrounding applications, including CRM, CPQ, billing, subscription management, payment platforms, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools. Support Customer Success & Delivery Develop strong expertise in the xfactrs platform, its value proposition, and its role in revenue assurance.

Conduct product demonstrations, solution workshops, and presales presentations. Support customer implementations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), pilots, and production rollouts as a finance domain expert. Act as a trusted advisor to customer finance organizations.

Collaborate with customer business teams, IT teams, implementation partners, and internal engineering teams. Product Strategy & Roadmap Influence product strategy and roadmap based on customer feedback, market trends, finance best practices, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to introduce AI-driven capabilities such as anomaly detection, predictive analytics, reconciliation automation, revenue leakage detection, and intelligent process monitoring.

Prioritize product enhancements that improve customer adoption, strengthen financial controls, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Ideal Candidate Profile 15+ years of experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, business analysis, solution delivery, or product management. Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes.

Good understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, revenue recognition, and related compliance requirements. Experience leading or participating in enterprise ERP implementations or finance transformation programs. Ability to engage with stakeholders ranging from operational users to CFOs and executive leadership.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex business processes and datasets. Experience conducting workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design discussions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High curiosity and passion for emerging technologies, especially AI, automation, and analytics in finance. Prior product management experience will be an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday Financials.

Experience with subscription billing, SaaS, usage-based, or recurring revenue business models. Familiarity with financial controls, reconciliations, compliance, audit processes, revenue assurance, and operational reporting. Experience working with data analytics, BI platforms, and AI-enabled business applications.

Experience supporting presales, consulting, or customer-facing engagements. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA, CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
