Desktop Engineer

Job Title: Desktop Engineer / IT Support Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Desktop Engineer / IT Support professional to provide end-user support and ensure the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and configuring systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering timely technical assistance to users. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Windows, macOS, and business applications. Manage hardware replacements, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities. Provide support for Wi-Fi connectivity and basic networking issues.

Perform system updates, patch installations, and routine security checks. Respond to user queries and resolve technical issues within defined timelines. Maintain records of support requests, resolutions, and IT assets.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware repairs and replacements when required. Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Knowledge of operating systems including Windows , macOS , and basic Linux administration. Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Understanding of desktop peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related devices.

Familiarity with basic networking concepts, including Wi-Fi configuration and connectivity troubleshooting. Ability to install, configure, and support software applications. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.

Basic understanding of antivirus solutions and endpoint security tools. Knowledge of remote desktop support tools. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
