Job Description On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Junior Business Analyst for a 12 month contract. Candidates musd be located in the lower mainland. A large enterprise transportation organization is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support a multi-phase Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modernization initiative.
This project focuses on improving and modernizing Asset Management, Work Management, and Supply Chain Management processes through mobile technologies and enhanced enterprise systems aligned with industry best practices. The successful consultant will support business analysis activities across the full project lifecycle, working closely with stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and project leadership. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions Support process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and future-state design Create user stories, use cases, process flows, and traceability matrices Support testing strategy, test planning, and validation activities Assist with solution design and implementation activities for the EAM platform Coordinate communication between business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams Support organizational change management and project communications Assist with data migration, reporting requirements, and business decision documentation Ensure alignment across project scope, requirements, and solution delivery Deliverables Business requirements documentation Process diagrams and flowcharts Fit-gap analysis documents Use cases and user stories SOPs and user documentation Reporting requirements and mock-ups Required Qualifications Bachelorβs degree in Business or related field 1β3 years of Business Analyst experience Experience with: Business process improvement Requirements gathering and analysis Facilitation and stakeholder engagement Test planning and execution Process mapping and documentation Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills Experience using Microsoft Office 365, including Visio, Teams, and SharePoint Familiarity with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps Preferred Qualifications Experience with Asset Management or ERP systems Exposure to platforms such as SAP, Oracle E-Business, or Infor EAM/CSF Organizational Change Management experience Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.) Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives Vendor/SaaS management experience Work Environment Hybrid work model requiring onsite presence at least 40% of the week Main office located in New Westminster, BC Occasional travel to other Lower Mainland locations may be required Standard work week is 37.5 hours Affinity is an equal opportunity employer.
