Aircraft Loads EngineerLocation: Montreal, Quebec or Toronto, Ontario, Canada; United States (multiple locations)Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada OR the United StatesRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace specialization preferred)Relevant aerospace industry experienceExperience with aircraft external loads analysisExperience conducting aircraft loads simulations and analysesExperience developing and maintaining analytical and simulation modelsExperience with nonlinear modelingExperience supporting aircraft certification activitiesStrong programming skills in:C++FortranMATLABPythonKnowledge of numerical and scientific computingExperience with high-performance computing (HPC) environmentsExperience using version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong understanding of:Aircraft flight dynamicsAeroelastic phenomena (Flutter, LCO)Unsteady aerodynamicsKnowledge of time-domain and frequency-domain unsteady aerodynamicsExperience with fly-by-wire systems and control law integrationExperience with finite element analysis tools such as NastranUnderstanding of airworthiness regulations and certification documentationExperience developing automated engineering tools and analysis frameworks preferredExperience with store separation loads analysis preferredExperience developing actuator models preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a technical engineering environmentEligible to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods (CGD) clearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
