iOS Developer

We are currently seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join a high-profile digital transformation programme within a leading UK financial services organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of customer-facing mobile applications used by millions of users, working within a modern engineering environment that embraces Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.

Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues. Support the delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient mobile solutions. Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience Excellent knowledge of Swift and modern iOS development practices. Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit . Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM.

Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend services. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated testing. Familiarity with Git-based source control and Agile development methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working within highly regulated environments such as financial services. Exposure to cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.

Experience with accessibility standards and mobile security best practices. Knowledge of reactive programming frameworks such as Combine. Experience developing applications at enterprise scale.
