Birmingham (B71). Commutable from Dudley, Wolverhampton, Bromsgrove, West Brom, Walsall, Redditch, Cannock. Salary: GBP52,000:GBP56,000.

Hours: Monday:Friday 7am:3:30pm. They are part of a global group with multiple sites in the UK, this is their biggest factory employing over 500 people.

They are looking for a Reliability Engineer to help to contribute towards their site maintenance development strategy. Role And Responsibilities As a Reliability Engineer Responsible for looking at engineering performance, ensuring machinery, systems and service operate efficiently and effectively Reviewing and developing new PPMs and leading continuous improvement activities Machine condition monitoring and asset care management Identifying obsolete spares/parts, liaising with suppliers and OEMs Work closely with shift engineers to identify problems before they happen and suggest improvements Carry out RCA investigations and present weekly KPis and performance updates Manage plant overhauls, planning weekly shutdown schedules and contractor control Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to be a Reliability Engineer: Previous experience of being a hands:on maintenance engineer would be beneficial Must have worked in food or FMCG manufacturing, ideally in a 24/7 operation Experience in a similar asst care, reliability, continuous improvement engineering role Must be NVQ Level 3 or higher qualified in engineering, ideally with an apprenticeship Strong problem solver, able to think outside the box and suggest improvements Good at assessing PPMs and creating new ones Excellent communicator : working closely with engineers, contractors, suppliers, OEMs Project engineering experience would be great Strong machine condition monitoring and RCA experience No terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate against any of the protected characteristics that fall under the Equality Act 2010. #J-18808-Ljbffr
